Crews is able to provide specialised services to support adults, young people and children who have a wide range of disabilities. We understand the importance of providing staff who are compassionate, fully trained and able to effectively meet the needs of individuals and ensure that support is provided in line with an individual’s person centred care & support plan.
Our care and support plans are designed by the individual where able, their family and significant others. This ensures that support is unique to that individual and is provided in a way which is truly person centred and safe.
From our experience of working with people who have a learning disability, the right level of support will enable individuals to lead a full, active and enhanced quality of life. Our aim is to enable individuals to develop life skills and gain increased levels of independence and community integration.
Our support services are extended to people with Downs Syndrome, Prader-Willi, and other rare forms of disability.

Crews is aware that caring for a loved one can be both physically and mentally demanding and realise that no matter how committed you are, it is important to take time out for yourself. We are able to provide staff that can support people day or night within their home, to ensure that your loved one is cared for in familiar surroundings.
We are able to provide respite support from as little as 3 hours to a couple of weeks if wishing to take a well-earned break. Our respite service is delivered by trained staff who have the additional support from qualified managers 24 hours a day. The respite provision is further designed to assist you should you become unwell or need a stay in hospital, providing you with the reassurance that your loved one will be safely cared for and supported.
